The table below is representing A level results for Independent and State Schools including Colleges (as well as Specialist Sixth Form College's) that forwarded their results to numerous media's. The table covers colleges and schools throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Schools and colleges are ranked according to the percentage of A and B grades achieved in August 2008. The percentage of colleges and schools showing only the number of students achieving straight A grades helps readers to distinguish which school or college are achieving top results. However it has come to our attention that smaller college's and schools with fewer than 8 A-Level candidates have not been ranked. Due to this unfair presentation of schools achievement, a number of independent colleges and schools have decided to boycott the August 2008 results league tables.
